For some reason, looking at the current state of things in the world, I'm afraid they're going to make him a "martyr" severly increasing his chances to become a President again after this failed assassination attempt. Even worse, I think it was all nothing but a stage performance.

...Yikes, I keep reading about how it's entirely possible to be a fucking convict and STILL RUN FOR A PRESIDENT (or anything else for that matter) in USA... How, just how? Is this what it means to be a fabled country of freedom and democracy (yes, I know it sounds funny from both sides of the ocean in 2024, but still)?

Donald Trump got shot today.

A totally predictable event.

For the better part of a decade, Trump has deliberately tried to inflame and enrage people. That's his act... a wanna-be stand-up comic, who says and does whatever he can to inflame conflicts and divide the public.

Add to that the insane gun culture dogma that the MAGA cult have been crowing about all the time, and you just pour more gas on the fire. Gee, I guess they forgot something important: the 2nd Amendment says that libs can buy guns, too. Stupid, self-defeating motherfuckers. No brains at all.

Well, this is when it comes around full-circle. I've been expecting something like this for several years now.
