For All Adult VTMB Players: A Free Mod From TesseraHere is a small, sexy mod that I'm making available up here in the Public area of the board. This mod is just a few replacement textures, for the "Beach Access" signs in the Santa Monica parking garage area of the game.
Since this mod was a "quickie" on my part, it is not packaged in the usual fashion that I bundle up my mods. These are just the textures themselves and their associated files, along with detailed instructions on where to place them within your VTMB installation. Don't worry... this mod will be very easy for most of you to install. It's a simple copy/paste operation. Just read, understand and follow the instructions within the typical "
ReadMe_NOW.txt" file which all of my mods include. That file is also reproduced at the bottom of this post, for reference.
This mod is a simple texture replacement. Therefore, it should be compatible with
all versions of VTMB... regardless of which patch or mod(s) you may be using. It will not conflict with any games in progress, either. Just exit the game, install this mod, and then start the game again. These new textures will then be immediately visible in Santa Monica, after they have been correctly installed.
NOTE: a high-quality video card is recommended... but that's likewise true about the entire game, when you get right down to it.

This is a small set of VTMB textures that I am making freely available to all VTMB players.
These textures are universal. They will work with ALL versions of VTMB, regardless of whatever patch
or mod(s) you happen to be using.
These textures will replace several of the "Beach Access" signs in the Santa Monica garage area with
new versions. These new versions have had a photo of a very attractive nude bather added to them.
FYI -- the girl in the photo is actually a classic Playboy Playmate from the 1980's (Karen Price),
who was also a gymnast, a bodybuilder, and a stunt woman in TV and films. So... she fits perfectly
into the Santa Monica scene... which was, at one time, a mecca for bodybuilders in the 70's and 80's.
The purpose of this small mod is simply to add a tiny bit of eye candy to an otherwise ordinary area.
INSTALLATION:
This is a "quickie" mod... something that I knocked off in about 20 minutes. As such, I am not bothering
to compile it into a bunch of sub-folders. So to install this mod, you will first need to locate the
following sub-folder within your VTMB installation:
VTMB(root)\Vampire\materials\decals\signs
Copy all of the files from this mod and then paste them directly into that sub-folder. If you do this
correctly, then Windows will tell you that those files already exist and then ask if you wish to
overwrite them. Say "yes" in order to allow these new textures to replace the original versions.
NOTE: if your copy of VTMB does NOT contain the sub-folder named above, then you will need to create it.
Be sure to exit the game before installing this mod. You can re-start the game after you install this mod.
The next time you load VTMB, these new signs will be visible in the Santa Monica parking garage area.
This mod will not interfere with any games that you have in progress, nor will it cause any problems
with any other patches or mods that you are currently using. Just install it and enjoy it immediately.

I do not expect that this particular mod will requite any support, however,
as it is a simple texture replacement and should not cause any conflicts.

It's just a small texture replacement for a few beach signs
in Santa Monica. Nothing major.
Took me about 15 minutes to whip them up in GIMP.

I need to mention that this "Beach Sign" mod has been incorporated
into the latest release of the VTMB Mega-Mod (version 2014b).
In other words, Mega-Mod users don't need to download this mod,
as it is included within the VTMB Mega-Mod 2014b package.

Whoops... hey, thanks for bringing this to my attention. We had a server crash a year or so ago, and a lot of files on our server got scrambled or lost.
I just fixed it and everything should be fine now. The sample screenshot is back in my OP, and the mod file is back on the server.
