Yeh external hard drive are only getting smaller making steam obsolete beside steam is the devil. You notice how many games now "require" that thing? Fortunately, most of those games can be hacked in such a way as to completely remove their dependence upon Steam.

Civilization V, the Half-Life series, and plenty of other "Steam dependent" games have been successfully hacked (by myself and others) in order to eliminate Steam altogether.

Which is exactly as it should be.

Thank you i managed to get the one with the auto-patcher from patching I just had to be quick about it to stop the auto-patching and the one you just game me will maybe easier to work with if I need to reinstall it and some of the sites that i saw online selling it are still at around 19.95 and up.

But i think you know what PacSteam is, don't you? A cracked Steam client who lets you download certain games directly from the Steam servers.
