Tessera's Hi-Res Textures
It recently has come to my attention that Tessmage.com has lost it's downloads section and the True Patch DOES NOT contain all of the Hi-Res Textures that could be found on the site (and some missing from the folder itself)

That is why I have decided to Zip up my Hi-res NPC Pack from Tess and the Hi-Res Jack texture packs.

Yes you heard right, HI-RES JACK. Now you get to look at Jack IN H... R?

Most people are well-aware that I do not approve of such behavior.

But... they do it anyway, probably just to see if they can get a reaction out of me.

Honestly, I can't stop selfish assholes from pirating my mods. So whatever... I hope they enjoy them.

And I hope they understand that this type of behavior will ensure that I will never release another mod publicly... never again.

Hope it was worth it to them.  


PS -- the hi-res texture pack that he/she is referring to in that post is already obsolete. Updated versions of ALL of those textures (and dozens more) will be included within my upcoming VTMB Mega-Mod package. And that Mega-Mod package will only be made available to a select, private group of tessmage.com members. So it's fine by me if the Steam crowd has fun with a 3-year-old set of inferior and obsolete re-skins. Loyal members of -this- board will be enjoying a vastly superior set of brand-new replacement textures soon.

Apparently that bone-head doesn't read forum posts. If I remember correctly you all ready stated that the TPG will be available to the public but if people dont already have your mods then they are SOL (not a quote), or he was to afraid to ask for permission, fearing you would say no.

People like that, need to respect the wishes of any modder and ask for permission before putting up a download link to work that is not theirs.

For the preliminary beta tests, only veteran tessmage.com Forum members will be allowed to have access to my upcoming VTMB Mega-Mod. I can already anticipate your next question... so let me say that in Tessera-spiel, a "veteran board member" is someone who has actively (keyword) participated on this board for longer than six months. And the word "actively" means more than just one post every six weeks.  

After the Mega-Mod is finished and ready to be released, it will be offered to -all- members of this web site, via a download link that will be posted in the "Tessera's Mods" section of the board. That section of the Forums is currently off-limits to lurkers and guests.

But... if I find a copy of my Mega-Mod posted on ANY other web site than this one, then it will be immediately withdrawn and I will not release any upgrades for it in the future. That includes posting direct links to the file on ANY other forum boards. Those are the rules. Pirate my shit and I stop upgrading and supporting it. But if you play by the rules, then you will get to have lots of nice stuff from me in the future... via THIS web site. Seems fair and reasonable to me, since I'm giving away top quality work for free.

She's hot. But she also makes me think I have something wrong in my eyes, because I can only see a slight crystal-blue on hers :S. That's the reason, by the way, I never pick blue eyes while making a character in an RPG where I can choose eye color... brown can be seen better.
Now than I think about it, I don't remember what was the original eye color of Lilith... ^^U

I did in fact change the Malk's eye color in the new version. She shares the same eyes as the Prince now (a very piercing light blue color).

So yeah... from a distance, I guess they are a bit indistinct. Up close though, her eyes look gorgeous.

FYI... changing your character's eye color is very easy to do. Just look in the "armor0" folder for your clan and there should be a couple of VMT files named "eyeball_l.vmt" and "eyeball_r.vmt" (for left and right eyes respectively). Edit those two files and select whatever eye color you want. You can find the names of all the different eye colors by looking within the "eyes" folder (Vampire\materials\models\character\eyes).

Here's an example. This is what the new Malk eyeball_x.vmt files look like:

So to change her eye color, you would edit the line that says "$iris" "models/character/eyes/prince" and change "prince" to whichever eyes you prefer.

I like her new eyes a lot. But if you don't, then no problem... just change them.  


Oh... and you had asked what the original default eye color was for female Malks. It was in fact "hazel." A sort of greenish-brown.

I think that I need to make something crystal clear to everyone...


There are many reasons for why I decided to remove access to my mods from the general public. But the major reason is a simple one: I got tired of seeing endless strings of insults and derisive comments being posted about me and my work on various game-related forum boards. And on top of that, I was also annoyed by the apparent lack of support from my supposed "fans." There are literally hundreds of thousands of people around the world who have downloaded and used one or more of my mods. You would think that at least *a few* of those people would have risen to my defense against the small-minded, moronic, untalented and unsophisticated little sheeple who were badmouthing me. But nope... almost nobody saw fit to lift a finger.

When you people don't care -- then I don't care, either. And the best way for me to show you how little I care is to stop giving you access to ANY of my stuff. Nor will I support it anymore. From now on, the only people who will have free access to my mods will be a select handful of tessmage.com veterans. Some of those veterans have been loyal members of this site for close to five years, so of course I am quite happy to continue giving them nice things that add to their entertainment. Right now in fact, those folks are beta testing the single largest mod that I have ever produced (so large that it has been named "Tessera's VTMB Mega-Mod").

Our members are having a ball... and so am I. Nobody on our end was hurt by my decision to stop releasing mods to the general public. Nope... we still have fun over here and I'm still creating juicy new mods for all of -us- to enjoy.

The only people... and I mean the ONLY people... who were hurt by my decision to retire and yank my mods from the web, were the people who have been badmouthing me and the people who failed to support me when they should have. That's it, folks... those are the ONLY people who lost anything. The rest of us here at tessmage.com are still having plenty of fun... and the quality of my work continues to improve. And I'm saving on a bunch of bandwidth to boot... now that I no longer allow public access to my mod files. So for us, it's win-win.

I don't care if people think I'm an asshole or not. Who fucking cares..? I'm not here to be your best buddy -- I have plenty of real-world friends for that. But I -do- care about ingratitude and lack of support from the people who are already enjoying my past efforts. So because of -those- people, everybody loses.

Well... everybody except us, that is. We still have free access to some of the best nude gaming mods on the planet.

No problem Tess, The web will always be full of Asshats who hide behind the anonymous web to bad mouth others, steal their work and then have the audacity to complain that the work they pilfered was not 100% to their liking.

I for one do appreciate what you have done.

 I hope your above comment was not because you took offence to a comment I made on a stream forum. I ask because I have discussed in the gold patch topic that you are working on a new project that was fantastic, but would only be available to active members of your forum.
