*** All Bans Lifted ***As of this morning, all bans and ban triggers which existed up until this moment have been rescinded (lifted).
There are no more bans against e-mail providers, such as Gmail and AoL. You may once again register using those (or any other valid) e-mail providers.
There are no more personal bans in effect. This means that if you were banned in the past for any reason whatsoever, then you are once again able to register a new account and re-join this community.
There are no more IP bans in effect, which means that if your internet host or internet service provider was banned in the past, then you are no longer banned and can once again register for full access to this forum board.
There are no more bans in effect, period. I have personally removed all of them, in preparation for an upgrade to our registration process.
From this day onwards, anyone who wishes to register for this forum board will be required to answer four questions correctly. Those questions will appear during the normal registration process. If you answer all four of them correctly, then you will be permitted to register. If you answer even a single one of those four questions incorrectly, then you will be prevented from registering. It is as simple as that. None of the questions are difficult -- they are merely intended to weed out the automated "spambots" which have been plaguing this and many other forum boards.I will be changing the questions every few months or so... or whenever I feel like it, actually. That way, the questions will be changing at random intervals, thus helping to further prevent any unauthorized registrations.
NOTE to troublemakers: just because I have un-banned everyone, it doesn't mean that you can now waltz back in here and start making trouble again. Just remember one thing: you can go right back onto the ban list even faster than I took you off of it. So before any infantile jackasses out there jump up and down with glee, keep in mind that I'm still here... and I'll nail your asses faster than you can whistle Dixie (so to speak).
It is still required that ALL users of this forum board be adults over the age of 18. If you lie about your age on your registration, then it won't matter... because I'm very sharp and I can spot a kid lying about his age a mile away. Just ask all of the little bastards who have gotten banned by me in the past, after I correctly deduced that they were NOT adults. I'm older than you, I'm definitely smarter than you, and you absolutely will not be able to fool me for very long, kids. So don't even bother... just move along to some other site. There are plenty of web sites which primarily cater to children ("4chan" comes to mind), but tessmage.com is not one of them. We are an adults-only web site, period.
So to recap:(1) All bans which existed prior to this posting have been lifted.
(2) All new registrants will be required to answer several security questions, before their registrations will be accepted.
(3) All new registrants must be adults, 18 years of age or older. There will be no exceptions.
(4) All members are required to list their correct age -and- gender on their Forum profiles.
The above message is intended to indicate that we are continuing our efforts to actively combat forum "spam" and underage users. However, this is still a private web site, which caters exclusively to adult gamers. That is why the vast majority of this forum board remains invisible and off-limits to guests.
All my best,
