A recent conflict, as well as some very real financial difficulties, have forced me to take the majority of the tessmage.com web site offline.This means that most of our features are absolutely, totally GONE. And that includes any and all downloads which used to be featured on this site. This was a voluntary move on my part. We weren't being forced to change anything... I did this of my own free will and mainly because (1) I was pissed off at the time and (2) I'm slowly going broke.
Therefore, all of my mods... as well as the True Patch Gold Edition... are no longer available from this site. True Patch users can take heart, though... because the True Patch Gold Edition is being offered for downloading from a couple of alternate sites. You can find links to both of those sites down in the official True Patch Gold thread.
Those of you who have been sending me e-mails and asking where you can obtain copies of my mods are out of luck, I'm afraid. They are no longer available from me, nor are they being hosted on any other web sites that I approve of. If you find a copy of one of my mods on some other site, then it is essentially a pirated copy. It may or may not be up to date, and it may even have been tampered with. I strongly suggest that you avoid downloading anything from those sites, as they may not even be safe.
I wish I had better news for everyone, but the economy is pure shit these days and it finally caught up with me... just as it has caught up with millions of other Americans. Something had to be cut out of my budget... and that something was the expensive private server that tessmage.com resides upon. It was nice while it lasted, but I can no longer justify its expense. Hopefully things will improve for me in the future, but for now I gotta tighten my belt and just do the best that I can with what little money I have left.
I am hoping that these Forums will be able to stay up and running indefinitely, assuming that I can work out a satisfactory financial arrangement with our host. We don't need an expensive dedicated server just to run a forum board, so hopefully we'll be able to put together an inexpensive server package that will at least allow this board to remain functional.
And of course, these Forums will remain completely free of censorship, as has always been my philosophy. The small board that we had been using temporarily on a free site ("ProBoards") was taken down yesterday by the site owners, due to "inappropriate content." In other words, the stupid repressed fuckers censored us. So, my answer to them is: fuck you. We're still here. So shove your kiddie bullshit up your holier-than-thou asses and spin on it.
If there is anything further to report about this situation, then I will post a follow-up here in this topic. In the meantime, enjoy the Forums.
