possible script error

Installed the True patch Gold, with Hotfix 6.

Started as a Brujah, female. Encountered the man outside the Pawn Shop, the one you can ask for money or mug. First time I talked, I hit him up for money saying my wallet was missing, and was denied due to lack of skills.

When I talked to him a second time, I got this error in the seduction line.

Never seen that before. Weird.

Nether have I. Whats even more weird, I don't think the Brujah have a special response to that guy. If I remember right it is a generic seduction response.

EDIT:
Okay, I thought something looked strange, so I did a quick peek, and it looks like Troika forgot to put a specific line in for the Brujah in that dlg, or forgot to remove that line.

To give you an idea, here is my dlg cypher (a work in progress) to show what should be put in each bracket.

Good find, Prisoner. It does indeed appear to be a legitimate error. The error occurs within a file named "smblueblood.dlg" and it is actually very easy to fix.

It's not a scripting error... it's simpler than that. It's just a missing line of Brujah dialogue. I think the reason that none of us have ever seen it before is because normally, the player doesn't have very many points in Seduction st such an early stage of the game. Hence the Seduction response never even shows up during our exchange with the blue blood.

Troika apparently used this line...

{   This is a PC response if the player is a brujah   }

...as a placeholder and then, they totally forgot to write the actual line of dialogue.

Alrighty, I'll have to write the new line myself. Same as I did when I was forced to write Malk-specific dialogue for the initial encounter with Heather.

After I fix it, the new dialogue file will be added to a future TPG hotfix.

Yeah, I maxed out my skill in seduction as much as possible to get that.

I'm also hunting for typos, but only saw one so far... the screenshot failed for that, though.

Those are more minor though, and unless I find a collection of 10, 20-ish, I won't be posting them one by one.

The new line shouldn't be hard, I think all classes except Nossie have the same seduction line. Should be an easy copy over.
